EHD was as professional as I could hope. John, the owner, and Min, the designer, were always responsive and available. The project took way longer than anticipated, but that was because certain products took much longer to come in than expected.

The workmen were a pleasure to have in my house and cleaned up every day to minimize the dust and disorder. Any issues that arose were addressed quickly, and John was very responsive about taking responsibility for correcting any problems. I highly recommend EHD.

We selected EHD Design Build Group to build our home addition mainly because of John’s vision for the additional space. The other company’s we vetted during the selection phase, which were very professional also, were happy to build what we showed them, which was for a sun room off the kitchen based on the builder’s specs with a workshop below. All the bids were in the same ballpark, except John’s proposal was based on a design that would literally transform our nice kitchen into a beautiful kitchen – plus we get the sun room area!

Another reason we selected EHD Design Build Group was the whole team’s professionalism during the selection process which lasted throughout the whole project. This was a large project for us – excavation, concrete foundation, external home construction and internal re-construction of the kitchen, breakfast nook and sun room areas. Throughout all of this design and construction, a single vision of the project guided the process. And the results speak for themselves – from the outside you can’t tell we built a 24′ x 8′ addition to our home and from the inside it matches the existing flooring and cabinetry, plus it integrates with the rest of the house beautifully.

With all the different work to do, John and his team kept to the schedule very well although we were always informed when things were happening. The crews that worked inside and outside were polite and neat. Special thanks go to Nestor and his crew for doing a great job. From a budget perspective, there were no surprises or hassles in working with EHD Build Group.

The overall result is a spectacular kitchen with a breakfast nook and sun room area. The granite countertops go well with the maple hardwood cabinets and maple hardware flooring. John selected just the right colors for the walls and provided excellent choices for us on lighting, sinks and faucets. His team was able to install our selections such as the flat glass stovetop with downdraft vent with expert precision. Along with having much more cabinet and counter space now, we have a beautiful kitchen that is functional and inviting.

We thank John and the whole team at EHD Design Build Group for a job well done. We absolutely love the new addition to our home and the kitchen remodeling that John and the EHD team did for us. We highly recommend EHD Design Build Group to anyone due to their professionalism, vision and expert workmanship.

Our decision to select EHD was made over the other general contractors we interviewed simply because they listened to what we wanted and delivered concepts that fit our budget. They followed that up by improving upon our ideas along the way and their crews were great to work with.
